How to bill at the counter
The billing counter is built for speed: scan or type, take the money, print, and the next customer is ready. It works with a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner and a thermal printer.
Step by step
- Set up your shop once. Shop details and bill settings: name, address, state, phone, GSTIN, UPI ID for the QR, and the bill paper.
- Add items. Type part of the name or barcode and tap the item or press Enter; a scanner adds it at once.
- Adjust quantity. − and +, or type it (1.5 for one and a half kilo). Scanning the same item again adds one.
- Take the money. Cash (type what the customer gives: the change shows large), UPI (QR with the exact amount), or Card.
- Save and print. Save and print, or Save, next customer without printing.
- Close the day. Today's sales: number of bills and cash, UPI and card totals to match the drawer.
Worked example
Bill: 2 brushes ₹60 and 1 putty bag ₹650, all + 18% GST = ₹909.60, rounded ₹910. Customer gives ₹1,000: change ₹90 shows in large letters. Day end: 46 bills, cash ₹18,450, UPI ₹22,300, card ₹3,100.
